Ranging markets present great opportunities to get an abundance of signals and time the markets quite well. Many famous indicators exist for this specific usage such as the RSI and the Commodity Channel Index. In this article, we will do some slight tweaking on the RSI so that it gives a clearer view on momentum, and then see how to use it in a back-test.
